SPRING OPEN HOUSE

A Celebration of Colour and Creativity

As the new season begins, One Marylebone welcomed event buyers, planners and industry partners for its Spring Open House, a vibrant showcase designed to mark the arrival of spring and inspire future events within the venue’s iconic spaces. The event offered guests the opportunity to experience the full creative potential of the building, with immersive activations, seasonal styling, exceptional catering and collaborative installations from some of London’s most exciting event suppliers.

Created as both an inspiration showcase and networking event, the Spring Open House allowed guests to explore the venue in a fully styled environment while connecting with trusted partners and discovering new ideas for weddings, brand activations, corporate events and private celebrations. Each space within One Marylebone was transformed to demonstrate the diverse experiences that can be brought to life throughout the venue, from vibrant receptions and immersive dining to intimate lounges and outdoor summer gatherings.

The Galleries: Spring Energy Filled the Room

From the moment guests arrived, spring energy filled the venue. Event branding by Ficklestix set the tone with fresh seasonal visuals carried throughout the venue, including a striking exterior banner hung from the façade that welcomed guests to the spring showcase and created a cohesive and elevated guest journey from the moment of arrival.

Inside The Galleries, catering partner One Dining greeted guests with Prosecco Rhubarb Bellinis garnished with edible flowers alongside Rhubarb and Rose Water Fizz mocktails inspired by the season.

One of the most memorable activations invited guests to quite literally leave their mark on the building with “I Painted a London Listed Venue.” Hosted by Full Circle Entertainment, the Flower Girls performed a vibrant spring inspired show while dressed in bold floral dresses and headpieces. Guests contributed brushstrokes to a large-scale artwork of One Marylebone, playfully celebrating the venue’s Grade I listed heritage in a colourful and contemporary way.

Alongside this, Flower & Press hosted a bespoke pressed flower station where guests created greeting cards and miniature artworks using real pressed blooms. Sustainability sits at the heart of Flower & Press, with the reuse of flowers to create pressed artwork extending the life of blooms and reducing waste. The experience beautifully demonstrated how creativity and conscious design can work hand in hand while offering guests a meaningful handmade keepsake.

The Soane Hall: Immersive Experiences & Elevated Dining

In Soane Hall, the atmosphere shifted into a fully immersive, sensory-led showcase. Projection mapping by NKN Productions transformed the architectural archway with dynamic visuals that celebrated past events hosted at One Marylebone, supported by exceptional audiovisual production throughout the space.

At the heart of the room stood a breathtaking gold tree installation by Twilight Trees, forming the central bar feature and commanding focal point beneath the hall’s soaring ceilings. Making its first appearance since launch, Yahire’s metallic round bar encircled the tree, pairing sculptural design with functional service and creating a striking centrepiece for the room. Together, the installation brought warmth, texture and architectural presence to Soane Hall, acting as both bar and visual anchor while demonstrating how bold foliage installations and statement furniture can shape atmosphere, guide guest flow and elevate the design narrative of an event.

To further soften and reimagine the grandeur of Soane Hall, Yahire also created a colourful lounge installation that demonstrated how the space can be styled for contemporary events. Their vibrant seating arrangements transformed the hall into a relaxed yet elevated networking environment, proving how thoughtful furniture selection can dramatically influence the mood and functionality of a space.

Behind the bar, guests were invited to create their own bespoke spring fragrance at the perfume station by Ribbon & Bow. The Fragrance Bar is a mobile immersive scent experience designed to elevate events through custom fragrance blending on site. Guests created their own personalised “Create Your Spring Scent” perfume, a beautifully curated takeaway that engaged sight, scent and storytelling in equal measure.

For a playful photo moment, Megabooth captured guests in front of a miniature three-dimensional model of One Marylebone, dressed in luxury faux florals with a summer woodland design by It’s Unreal.

The Vaults: A Hidden Speakeasy

For a dramatic contrast, guests discovered The Vaults, transformed into a speakeasy-style cocktail lounge accessed through the venue’s secret library door.

On the mezzanine level, a Martini bar served classic gin and vodka martinis including dirty and filthy variations alongside signature cocktails such as the Espresso Martini, Spicy Grapefruit, French 75, Lychee Martini, Passionfruit Martini and Vanilla Martini.

This intimate late-night setting revealed the incredible versatility of the venue, demonstrating how One Marylebone can transition seamlessly from grand architectural showcase to atmospheric after party lounge.

The Garden: A Setting for Every Season

Stepping outside, The Garden revealed yet another dimension of the venue. Beyond the interiors, this open-air setting provides the perfect backdrop for elegant summer receptions, champagne soirées or full-scale outdoor parties.

With space for al fresco dining, live entertainment and immersive installations, The Garden brings a fresh sense of energy and possibility to any celebration.

The Greenhouses: Intimate Private Dining

The Greenhouses presented a beautifully styled pop-up afternoon tea tablescape filled with indulgent seasonal treats. Showcasing their light-filled intimate private dining spaces, it highlighted the creative potential of The Greenhouses as the perfect setting for spring and summer gatherings.

One Dining: Culinary Highlights

The culinary experience, curated by One Dining, celebrated seasonal flavours and theatrical food moments. Guests enjoyed heritage tomato tartare with whipped avocado and basil served in a charcoal cone, smoked salmon pops with crème fraîche and dill, fillet of lamb with pea purée and mint relish, kedgeree arancini with smoked haddock and curried mayonnaise, chipotle chicken with charcoal tortilla and beetroot gazpacho with celery, horseradish and sherry vinegar.

Interactive live food experiences added theatre throughout the evening. A salmon Wellington carving station served scampi tails with Thermidor sauce and lemon. A pasta bar featured Creste di Gallo Cacio e Pepe prepared to order and tossed dramatically inside a whole wheel of cheese with a touch of flambé. Roaming oysters were freshly shucked throughout the evening and limoncello dessert pots circulated as a final sweet moment.

Seasonal Rosé Wine Tasting

In celebration of the season, guests enjoyed a curated rosé wine tasting experience by Graft Wine, the exclusive wine supplier at One Marylebone. Established in 2019, Graft is an independent UK importer and distributor known for championing exceptional wines with a strong connection to their origin.

The rosé selection offered bright and refined profiles that paired beautifully with the seasonal menu, demonstrating how thoughtful wine curation can elevate the guest experience.
