The charity aims to reduce reoffending by providing prisoners with a City & Guilds NVQ in professional cookery and service through intensive training during the final 18 months of their sentence. Through this initiative, The Clink Charity has achieved a remarkable reduction in reoffending, with 97% of graduates completing the scheme and not reoffending upon release—compared to the national average reoffending rate of 58% within 18 months.

All profits made from catering events at One Marylebone are reinvested into The Clink Charity. In 2024 alone, the charity trained 830 students in prisons across the UK, delivered approximately 550 NVQ qualifications, and placed 52% of their students into employment. For every £1 invested in The Clink Charity, there is a £4.80 saving in taxes otherwise spent on reoffending.
